사랑의 힘으로

사랑의 힘에 고요히 감싸이니 마음이 진정되고 안심이 되고 은총으로 가득찬 느낌입니다. 나는 이 날들을 당신과 함께 살고 싶고 새해를 더 당신과 함께 걷고 싶습니다.

By loving forces silently surrounded, I feel quite soothed, secure, and filled with grace.
So I would like to live these days together, and go with you into another year.

옛 일이 여전히 우리 마음을 짓밟고 사악한 날들이 우리를 억누르고 있습니다. 오 주님. 두려움에 떨고 상처입은 우리 영혼에 준비하신 구원을 주옵소서.

Still matters of the past are pressing our hearts and evil days are weighing down on us.Oh Lord, to our souls, so scared and sore, give rescue, as it's that you made us for.

주님이 넘치고 넘치도록 쓰디 쓴 고통의 잔을 넘겨 주셨을 때 떨지않고 깊이 감사하면서 주님의 자애로이 돌보시는 손에서 그 잔을 받습니다.

And when you pass to us the bitter chalice of suffering, filled to the brim and more, we take it, full of thanks and trembling not, from this, your caring and beloved hand.

그러나 주님이 빛나는 해와 경이로운 세상으로 우리를 하염없이 기쁘게 해주시려면, 우리가 과거를 성찰하게 해주십시오. 그런 연후에야 우리 삶의 모든 것안에서 주님께 속하게 될 것입니다.

But if you want to please us, over and again, with our shining sun and wondrous world, let us muse on what is past, and then we shall,
with our lives, in all belong to you.

주님은 어두움속으로 희미한 빛을 가져오셨으니 오늘 우리의 촛불이 따뜻하고 밝게 타오르게 해주시고 주님이 원하시면 우리를 다시 함께 이끌어주십시오. 우리는 압니다: 주님이 밤속에서 비추고 계심을.

Warm and bright be our candles' flame today, since into gloom you brought a gleaming light, and lead again us, if you will, together! We know it: you are beaming in the night.

이제 침묵이 우리 주변 어디에나 내릴 때 눈에 보이는 것보다 더 크고, 주님의 세상보다 더 넓은 어떠한 것이라도 아우르는 소리를 듣게 해주시고 주님의 모든 자녀들의 벅찬 찬미의 소리를 듣게 해주소서.

When silence now will snow around us ev'rywhere, so let us hear the all-embracing sound of greater things than we can see and wider, your world, and all your children's soaring hail.
사랑의 힘에 잘 피신하여 우리는 다가올 일을 두려움없이 기다립니다. 주님은 땅거미 질 때와 아침에 그리고 매일 우리와 분명히 함께 하십니다.

By loving forces wonderfully sheltered, we are awaiting fearlessly what comes. God is with us at dusk and in the morning and most assuredly on ev'ry day.
